ModulA Log – Induction-Powered Herbal Aromatherapy Device

A modern approach to dry herb aromatherapy, combining induction heating, natural wood, and an innovative mechanical design.

The ModulA Log is a compact, externally heated herbal aromatherapy device, designed and developed by BEYOND THE CLOUDS in Austria.

By combining the proven induction-heated ModulA heating element with a natural wood housing, the ModulA Log offers a unique approach to herbal aromatherapy.

Innovative, Movable Heating Element

At the heart of the ModulA Log is its mechanically movable stainless steel heating element.

For external heating via induction, the heating element slides out of the protective wood housing. Once the device is placed on the herb chamber, the heating element retracts back into the housing.

This design ensures that the heated components are protected within the wood housing during use, reducing direct contact with hot metal surfaces.

The entire mechanism functions purely mechanically – without batteries, integrated electronics, or internal heating circuits.

Induction-Powered Convection Heating

The ModulA Log features an externally induction-heated stainless steel heating element, filled with borosilicate glass beads for heat retention.

After being heated with a compatible induction heater, the heating element stores thermal energy and transfers it to the incoming air. This heats dry aromatic herbs via convection.

The result is a simple, manually operated heating system without integrated electrical components.

Natural Wood & Modular Design

The ModulA Log features a housing made of natural walnut wood, combining a classic look with modern mechanics.

The wood housing is interchangeable, allowing for different wood types and surface finishes in the future.

Already own an original ModulA? The Log is also available as a conversion kit. This allows you to use your existing ModulA heating element with the Log's wood housing.

Optional Magnetic Aluminum Caps

Two optionally available magnetic aluminum caps complement the wood housing.

They allow for convenient storage, provide additional protection, can serve as a tray or base, and assist in dissipating residual heat.

Important Notes

A compatible external induction heater is required for use. This is not included in the scope of delivery.

The heating element and other metal components can become very hot during operation. Always follow the user manual and allow heated components to cool down sufficiently before touching or cleaning.
